American Classic Complete Scratch can be fed to adult chickens, ducks, geese, and turkeys. Complete Scratch can be fed as an alternative to layer pellets, and it also promotes natural feeding behaviors. Feed free-choice on top of the ground or in a feeder as the sole ration to poultry that are at least 16 weeks of age and throughout the entire laying cycle. Ensure that the feeder is at least half filled at all times. In addition to this feed, American Classic Oyster Shell, Grit, and 16% Layer Pellets may be added to the diet as needed. A constant supply of fresh, clean water and shelter should always be provided. Consumption will vary depending upon time of the year, nutritional needs of the animals, and availability of other foods.
